We, along with many other organisations, came together to protest the Supreme Court and the government on their recent actions which have significant consequences for trans people.
In February 2025, we hosted our first ever Annual General Meeting where we also elected our 2nd Executive Committee.
In September 2024, a Labour Councillor in Southend made deeply transphobic remarks on social media. We called it out.
We did some work at the Labour Conference in Liverpool, and our co-chair Avery spoke at a Labour for Trans Right demo outside the Conference centre.
On Sunday the 28th of July 2024, Pride in Labour elected its first ever Executive Committee.
The first key action for us was to call for the ban on puberty blockers to be lifted. This statement acted as a springboard for our movement.
In July 2024, Pride in Labour was born in response to failures by the Labour Party and the silence from LGBT+ Labour.
